Terms
Last updated 27 August 2026. These are the terms you agree to when you enter a season.
These terms match the Facility Participation Agreement every host club signs, so a player and a club are held to the same rules about the same money. Where this page and that agreement describe the same thing, they are meant to say the same thing.
1. WHAT YOU ARE BUYING
An entry to one season of the Launch Point Global Tour at a participating facility, on the simulator platform that facility runs. GSPro and Trackman are separate tours with separate leaderboards and separate prize pools, and they do not mix.
Entry is per player, not per team. Pairing into two-player teams happens after entry.
2. ENTRY FEES
- $60 per player per season — Fall 2026, Winter 2027 or Spring 2027.
- $180 per player for all three seasons, bought at Fall registration.
Card processing is added on top at checkout rather than taken out of the pot, so the full entry lands in the prize pool whole. The total you are charged is shown before you pay.
On Trackman, the whole $60 goes to the prize pool. On GSPro, $10 covers the software licence and $50 goes to the prize pool. The tour organiser takes no portion of entry fees.
Some clubs collect entry themselves rather than through this site. Where that happens you pay the club directly and these terms still govern how you play and how the pool works.
3. THE PRIZE POOL
Entry fees are held in a separate escrow account and the ledger is visible to every participating club. Each platform's pool pays out only to that platform's players. Paying places and percentages are fixed and published before play begins. Payouts are made after the final week of each season.
Clubs may contribute to the pool. Every contribution is published.
4. REFUNDS AND WITHDRAWAL
- If a season is cancelled before week 1, every entry fee is refunded.
- If you drop out mid-season, there is no refund.
- If your club withdraws mid-season, you may finish the season and your entry stays in the prize pool.
5. HOW YOU PLAY
- Two players, one team, scramble.
- One course a week, the same for everybody.
- Play your round any time Monday through Sunday.
- One scored round per week. On SGT you pick the tournament round before you tee off and it posts by itself; on Trackman your club runs it.
- Practise as much as you like. Only the scored round counts.
- No handicaps. Gross scoring, best raw score wins.
- Best 6 of 7 weeks count toward the season total.
- Simulator settings are locked and identical at every club on your platform.
- All rounds are played in person at your facility.
The course list comes out two weeks before each season. The rules published on this site govern at all times, and the current published version is the one that applies.
6. PAIRING
You enter as an individual and are paired into a two-player team. Give your partner's mobile number when you sign up and you will be paired once they enter too. Leave it blank and your club will pair you. A player still unpaired at the sign-up deadline is paired from the pool.
7. YOUR ACCOUNT
You sign in with a code texted to your mobile number. That number is your login, so it can only belong to one account — two people cannot share one. Keep it current: if you change or lose the number, use the "lost or changed your phone" link on the standings page to get back in by email and set a new one.
Do not share a login code with anybody. Nobody from Launch Point will ever ask you for one. You are responsible for what is done under your account.
Text messages are covered in the Privacy policy: verification and login only, never marketing, and STOP works at any time. Because a code is how you sign in, opting out means you will need to text START before you can sign in again.
8. FAIR PLAY
Scored rounds must be played in person, by the registered members of the team, on the locked settings. Your club verifies this. Misreported scores, rounds played by somebody else, or altered settings can mean disqualification and forfeiture of any prize.
9. DISPUTES
The tour is governed by a committee made up of representatives of Launch Point and Virtual Tee. The committee rules on disputes, protests, scoring appeals and penalties, including disqualification. Committee decisions are final and binding. Raise a problem with your club first; your club brings it to the committee.
10. SIM TIME IS YOUR CLUB'S CHARGE
Your facility sets and collects its own simulator time fees. That is between you and your club. It is not part of the entry fee and no part of it goes to the prize pool.
11. LIABILITY
Your club owns and operates its own facility and is solely responsible for its premises, equipment, staff and the services it provides to you. The tour and its organiser are not liable for your club's operations.
12. CHANGES
Changes to the rules, the format, the schedule, entry fees, or the prize pool structure require committee approval. Entry fees and pool structure will not change for a season you have already paid for.
